SCHOOL
Yes! Our online learning experience allows students to access various content and complete assignments at their own pace. Students move through topical material and take tests to demonstrate mastery of a subject when they feel prepared. Removing hard due dates reduces stress allowing students to spend more time on challenging lessons and less time on lessons in which they excel.
There is no requirement to pursue a full diploma program. We offer over 30 individual high school online courses for a single purchase. Our summer school students, in particular, find this option attractive for credit recovery. However, many students choose to enroll in one-time purchase courses for a variety of reasons:
- To get ahead in their studies
- To take courses that are not available in a regular school curriculum
- To challenge themselves with an honors or dual enrollment credit course
- To make up for missed classes
- To gain experience with online learning
You will need access to a desktop, laptop, netbook, or notebook computer with Microsoft Office and an Internet Browser (i.e., Google Chrome, Mozilla, or Microsoft Edge) to take your classes. You can also access classes from your smartphone. All assignments and exams must be submitted as one document or docx document. We do not discourage our students from using these operating systems or mobile devices, but advise that students should be prepared for problems that may arise.
