Basic education is elementary for the development of children, since it is a determining cycle for the learning of basic knowledge and new languages.
LATAM Global School offers a virtual homeschooling-style educational program for students in grades 1 through 5.
During these degrees, students strengthen their basic knowledge, taking the main subjects required by the Florida Department of Education and that make up the general curriculum of the American educational system.
This program is made up of 4 main subjects, which are:
- Social – strengthens skills in the area of history and geography.
- Math – develops numeracy and math skills.
- English Language Arts – develops language skills in the area of English.
- Science – builds science skills in the areas of life science, earth science, and physics.
These subjects are found throughout the program’s grades.
Also, each student has electives that help in the language learning process, one of these programs is ESOL, which aims to develop the student’s skills in the English language.
Currently the Elementary program at LATAM Global School is in English, however, students have the support of teachers, who together with parents support the study process of each student.
